Nice here today although very foggy this AM. Hit about 85 with a nice breeze. Rode down to Flatwood this AM to have the trike worked on and then took off around the area eating out and checking pawn shops on the trike. Thing seems to be shifting weird since they worked on it? Hope nothing is wrong! Checking out the area I intend to hit on the weekend of the fourth of July. Big Car Show, two different Blue Grass shows and hopefully nice weather to enjoy the bike on the road. Well this is it Folks as I am beat! Bill

Think it hit 82F today, at least it felt hot. Supposed to hit the eighties tomorrow and then back to the seventies. I got home mid-morning and haven't stopped since. Got my final permits this morning and paid the county a small fortune. I think about nine tenths of it was a school tax, and I told the gal if she dropped the charge I wouldn't use the school system. Didn't work. They charge a dollar/ft. sq. for new residences. I just now received the last six inspections I have to do in Hawaii. Guess I will copy off another ream of paper getting all the information that I need. Long night ahead of me as I haven't even thought about packing yet. I'm really not looking foward to the trip. Looks like a four island gig. Not much else happening here, just busy. Kevin in Or.

We are having unusually high tides the last few days because of the alignment of the sun and moon, so once it started back in, it really jumped. By the time I finished sorting and counting, the marsh grass was mostly covered. The bay really looked strange with all my usual landmarks under water. The shrimp boat dock was almost covered, and it was still two hours until high tide. It has cooled off just a bit from the weekend, but still warm in the low 90s. The forecast is for 92-94 for the next week, and only about a 20% chance of scattered showers in the afternoons. The heat is drying the soil out. I may have to water the garden soon if we don't get some rain.
