Wow! wondered what that noise was and it is pouring here as I write this! We could use some rain so I am not complaining but it kind of cramps my plans to shop for food today for awhile. Man it is really coming down out there. Yesterday was just perfect high 70's with a nice breeze all day and I got some cycle time in after the VA trip in the morning. Doctor was giving me hell and wanting me to lose some weight and take this and that and I walked out the same way I went in there. Fat, Dumb, and happy. Got the M1 Carbine paratrooper all together again yesterday and it looks great after a long and arduous clean-up and dust ball removal chore. It had sat loaded and ready under a bed for well over 30 years a home protection piece. I have a friend who is a stock specialist (makes and restores them) and he just cleaned and removed the spots of mold and dust inside the stock with no coatings or finishing to change anything. I felt a little lacking to touch the stuff as I have never seen it that bad on wood only on old leather so I asked him and he said to bring it over. He did a great job and I feel better knowing he has worked with wood since he was a little tyke in his fathers cabinet shop, sort of a local Rome I befriended.

Well I think the rain is stopping and I need to shop so I hope Bob has a particularly Great Day and the rest of us make it through and enjoy life too! Bill
